Joe is a founder and the Chief Operating Officer of LP Insurance Services, Inc. He is a fully-licensed Nevada agent with non-resident insurance licenses in Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana and Texas. A 27-year insurance industry veteran, he grew up in northern Idaho and relocated to Elko, Nevada in 1980 after earning a Bachelor of Science from the University of Idaho.

Joe joined Insurance Management Services (IMS) in 1986, eventually becoming a shareholder and Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In 2002, IMS merged with Lucini/Parish Insurance where he continued as a shareholder and Chief Operating Officer. Later, in 2005, Lucini was acquired by ABD Insurance and Financial Services where Joe served as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for the Nevada Division. ABD was ultimately acquired by Wells Fargo Insurance Services in 2007. At Wells Fargo Joe was named the COO of the Mountain West Region with operations in Utah, Idaho, Nevada and California.

In 2010, Joe and three fellow shareholders from the former Lucini/Parish (Nick Rossi, Rich Bullard and Mike Talbott) along with key producers (John DeRicco, Joe Kulikowski and Lloyd Barnes) began negotiations with Wells Fargo Insurance. Their discussions were successful and in September 2010, Joe and the team launched LP Insurance Services, Inc. along with 42 professionals from the former Lucini/Parish, IMS, ABD and Wells Fargo.

Today, Joe proudly serves as LP’s Chief Operating Officer. He is truly excited to work with the very best, most dedicated group of insurance professionals he has ever known.

As a member of the northern Nevada community, Joe chooses to serve on the Board of Directors for Hot August Nights - the largest classic car and nostalgia event in the United States with events held across the Reno/Sparks/Lake Tahoe region. He is married with one daughter and enjoys fast cars (specifically Mustangs), NASCAR and college sports, especially the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR).
