Client Service Account Manager in Employee Benefits

Description

We are an established yet growing commercial and personal insurance brokerage firm, specializing in property, casualty, surety, workers’ compensation, employee benefits, personal and medical practice insurance with an emphasis on risk management services.

We are looking for an Client Service Account Manager in our Employee Benefits Department.  Someone that has the ability to proactively problem solve, who always strives for excellence, has a passion for customer service and has an exceptional eye for detail.  We may be in a serious business but we enjoy it and we appreciate our people and all they do for our clients and colleagues.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the skills and ability to:

  • Maintain organized chaos (tasks, electronic folders and files);
  • Manage their time effectively in order to meet strict deadlines;
  • Communicate clearly and professionally both in written & verbal form;
  • Problem solve and assist clients with benefit related questions or claims;
  • Prioritize responsibilities and maintain a customer-focused positive attitude.
  • Be proactive and juggle tasks while servicing multiple accounts;
  • Be rigorous with follow-up and follow-through;
  • Knowledge of basic health insurance coverage’s, HIPAA rules and regulations, and the ACA along with a minimum of one (1) year of customer service experience is highly preferred. Life and Health Insurance license is a plus!
