Insurance Account Manager Commercial Lines

As an Account Manager with LP Insurance Services, Inc., you’ll be responsible for providing timely, accurate, courteous and friendly service to Clients, Producers, Account Executives and Company personnel.

You’ll need to be someone who takes pride in being a true professional.  One who enjoys connecting & communicating with others with the utmost of integrity.  You’ll be excited to take this opportunity to learn, grow and achieve outstanding results.

You’ll apply the skills you already have in managing and servicing Commercial P&C Accounts, by negotiating renewals with carriers, thoroughly reviewing applications, policies, endorsements, and cancellations and responding to questions, requests or concerns from clients in a timely way.  You will have worked a minimum of 3-5 years in an Insurance related Customer Account Service role and have demonstrated knowledge of insurance concepts and principles. 

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proficiency in basic computer skills, such as Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word and Excel, 10-key, scanning and email attachments.
  • Skill in developing excellent inter-personal and client relations; producing effective, accurate verbal and written communication, active listening with strong attention to detail to ensure document accuracy; organization and time management.
  • Ability to interface and work collaboratively with all departments of the company and represent the company in a highly professional manner; be flexible and adaptable to new ideas from fellow employees and management; proactive and assertive; be forth coming with ideas and opinions with entire staff; uphold the highest level of confidentiality; prioritize and plan work activities using time efficiently; problem solve through integrity, sincerity and discretion; identify required tasks, execute appropriately and follow tasks through to completion; manage multiple tasks at one time; and follow policies, procedures and regulations. Present a professional, clean, well-groomed appearance.
  • Minimum three (3) years of insurance related customer service, administrative broker and /or carrier experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
