LP Insurance Services, LLC. Names Cushard as President and Walker as Controller
RENO, Nev. – January 24, 2022 – LP Insurance Services, LLC proudly announces the promotion of Brian Cushard to President and Heather Walker to Controller.
We are pleased to announce the promotion of our Vice President of Strategic Growth, Brian Cushard, to President of LP Insurance Services. As President of LP Insurance, he will provide ongoing leadership depth and direction to the existing LP footprint. He will be deeply involved in all companywide initiatives including supplying direction and focus to our strategic, organic and acquisition growth strategies. Nick Rossi, current Chief Executive Officer and President of LP Insurance Services, will continue in the role of LP Insurance Services CEO.
Cushard joined LP Insurance in 2020. He is a native of Sacramento and holds a business degree from the University of Southern California and is a twenty-year insurance broker (specializing in real estate, energy and manufacturing). Prior to joining LP Insurance, Cushard held production and management roles with Woodruff Sawyer, Beecher Carlson and CorVel in southern California. He has vast geographic and industry experience. He is a seasoned insurance professional with management and growth experience in several areas including production, talent acquisition, sales management and strategy.
In addition, Heather Walker has been promoted to the position of Controller for LP Insurance Services. In her new role she will oversee all accounting and finance operations for our company. Walker is a certified public accountant with 20 years of experience. A Reno native, she is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno and later earned a master’s from Auburn University. Prior to joining LP Insurance Services in 2018, Walker was a senior associate at Eide Bailly CPAs/Business Advisors.
